We hosted a 30 person rehearsal dinner at Hopyard and enjoyed the event from beginning to end. We booked the private room and it fit our needs perfectly. Here are some notes: Atmosphere: Relaxed, laid back, sports bar vibe, indoor/outdoor seating options, we were in the indoor private room Food: We have had many items: potato skins, wings, frickles, burgers, chicken sandwich, fish and chips, cobb salad, churros, chocolate chip cookies. We had plenty of compliments on the food. Definitely "bar" type food but it was good! Service: Service was quick. We had Victoria as our dedicated server for the private event and she was amazing. She also is the event coordinator so she helped us book the event, set the menu and was able to help with every step along the way. She was very accessible via email and phone and made planning a breeze. Other: plenty of parking, good beer selection, team was super accommodating and helpful all night!

Atmosphere: Lubys after dark Food: Diablo Burger with garlic and parmesan fries. Burger 3/5 bland with no seasoning. Fries: 2/5 powdered garlic and plenty of parmesan. Half grilled jalapeño: 1/5 Diet coke 3/5 Great quiet, incredibly friendly and attentive wait staff. Perfect for families and the Lubys Blue Light Special Club. I went here based on a recommendation of a friend. Well, a broke clock is right 2X in the day. Enjoy

This is a go to place for all my friends and I. Great selection of beer and reasonable pricing. Their fries and fried pickles are a must order. Their classic burgers and sandwiches are my favorite. The staff is very helpful when ordering. Always very clean and great amount of seating indoor and outdoor.

Always a great place for comfort food. You can't lose with their burgers or fish and chips; however I noticed this time around they provided much fewer garlic fries than before. I used to get almost 1/2 a plate of garlic fries and now it is about 1/4 plate. Their beer selection continues to be solid as well. Each time I come here, there's usually just a very short wait. This time, it was really cold outside so we waited a little longer because it was fairly full inside. We weren't offered seats at the bar, even though there were available seat there. Prices continue to go up. I get it - the cost of living, livable wages, and such - but what I used to pay for a burger here just a few years ago has gone up $3-$4. It is getting a bit expensive to feed a family of 4 burgers, albeit really good burgers.

We used to go to the Hopyard in San Ramon regularly. Unfortunately, they closed quite a while ago. So happy to see that there's a Hopyard in Pleasanton and we decided to give it a try. Glad we did. We ordered the French dip and the prime rib sandwich that was on the "specials" menu. Both were exceptional. Prime rib was melt in your mouth tender. Not sure if it's a regular item or just a once in a while "special", but I would definitely order that or the French dip again. both also came with a choice of a side. We ordered onion rings. They were very good, not greasy. Our server was Liz. And although she seemed to be the only one taking orders, working behind the bar, or delivering food, she did an exceptional job. She came by regularly to check on us, she was very friendly, and she offered refills. The amazing thing is we were in a week before, and she remembered us and where we were sitting! They have a great outside area, but it's been a little too cold to enjoy it. It'll be nice in the summertime. We will definitely be going back.

Came in for a bite and a brew with some friends recently, and had a good time. It was a Friday night and was fairly packed, but we were able to get a table right away. On to the food! I got the French dip sandwich with onion rings on the side. The sandwich was flavorful and moist, and the au jus good as well. The onion rings were really tasty, too. As far as the beer, for the life of me, I can't remember what I ordered, lol. But it was a west coast IPA on tap, and was really good. Service was great as well, and there were a bunch of big screen TVs if you want to catch a game. I'd come back again for sure.

The Hopyard is known for its beer selection but the place has great food. It was Taco Tuesday so I went with the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos - add beans and rice. My wife went with the Beef Brisket Burger - with bacon, mushrooms, and sliced avocado and a side of garlic, parmesan fries. The service throughout the meal was fantastic.....Okay, now to review the food... Tacos - the Carnitas Taco was fantastic. They serve with a small cup of a taco sauce/salsa-ish on the side to spread over the top. Delish! The Al Pastor was less successful - a little dry and not with that unique pineapple, tangy liquid sauce. Beans were bland but the rice had nice seasoning. I ended up taking a spoonful of beans and dipping that in the rice - nice combo there. My wife's Beef Bisket burger was very tasty- a little on the medium side. A little rarer paddy would have made it even juicier. Bacon and mushrooms were really good. The fries were well seasoned - a little on the floppy (vs. crispy) side. We ordered churros for desert to go but my wife snuck one and ooh'd and ahh'd on her churro sneak. The Hopyard is clearly a strong beer forward location but the food absolutely held its own.

This is a great place to hang out after work or for a team lunch. We recently came here for a team lunch, and there was something for everyone. Although I'm not a beer drinker, they have a large selection of beers, and many of my workmates enjoyed theirs. All the appetizers looked so good that we ended up ordering the sampler platter. I had the buffalo wings and fried zucchinis, which were both really good. They have lots of burger choices on the menu, and they are cooked to order. I opted for the beef and lamb gyro, which was huge. You get 2 full size gyros. The pitas were soft and I enjoyed the yogurt dressing inside. The beef and lamb were good too. Our group of 12 were well taken care of. All our food came at once and everyone got exactly what they ordered. Overall, a nice place for some pub food and beers.
